FRESNO, CALIFORNIA , January 15, 2008 The Big Fresno Fair received nine awards at the 85th Annual Western Fairs Association (WFA) Achievement Awards that was held in San Diego, California, January 7 – 10, 2008. In 2007, The Big Fresno Fair won highest honors with the Merrill Award, given for its Artistic Vision of “Pirates in the Park” – this year, the Fair takes home honors for its “Clean & Green” Program, including the $5M solar panel project.
