The Big Fresno Fair is now accepting nominations to two of its most prestigious honors –Big Fresno Fair Hall of Fame and Community Champions Awards.

The Big Fresno Fair Hall of Fame honors individuals who have demonstrated long-time continued support and extraordinary passion for the betterment of The Big Fresno Fair. A maximum of only five individuals are chosen each year.

The Community Champions Awards formally recognizes four individuals each year who have demonstrated an extraordinary passion for the betterment of Fresno County. To be inducted into The Big Fresno Fair Hall of Fame or to receive a Community Champion award, an individual must first be nominated by a community member, Big Fresno Fair staff or past Fresno Fair Board of Directors.  Nominations will then be reviewed by The Big Fresno Fair Board of Directors and final selections made at the Board’s September meeting.

The deadline for submission for both awards is August 15, 2009.
