Antique show at the Fresno Fairgrounds February 3rd - 5th!

Serendipity Shows is bringing the best antiques from around the country to the Fresno Fairgrounds February 3rd - 5th!  The antique show has been a fixture at the Fairgrounds for more than 30 years. It is a one-of-a-kind experience, perfect for the practiced antique expert or the novice just looking to have a fun time learning the history behind these amazing trinkets. The show will be held in the Fresno Fairground’s Commerce Building. Doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. General admission is $6.

Central Coast Gun Show at the Fresno Fairgrounds this weekend!

The Central Coast Gun Show is coming to the Fresno Fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday. Bringing between 250 - 300 tables of guns ranging all prices and sizes, the Central Coast Gun Show is sure to attract both expert and novice customers. Registration now open for valley students to receive a lesson in agriculture at Farm & Nutrition Day

Local students can now register to receive valuable lessons in agriculture and nutrition. The Big Fresno Fair has teamed up with Fresno County Farm Bureau to host the 2012 Farm & Nutrition Day on March 23rd at the Fairgrounds. This event gives local 3rd graders the chance to learn about the agricultural industry, as well as healthy eating. This day is also a great opportunity to demonstrate to children the connection between the foods on their plate and the crops grown here in the Central Valley.

Big Fresno Fair Board Member Receives High Honor

The Big Fresno Fair would like to extend a BIG congratulation to Elizabeth Hudson, a Fair Board Member, for her selection as a 2012 honoree for the Common Threads Award that recognizes Valley women for their agricultural, philanthropic and community service. Her work through several community organizations and contribution toward Valley agriculture make her a prime candidate for this honor.

FREE electronic recycling event tomorrow - Saturday, January 14th!

The Big Fresno Fair will hold its first electronic waste recycling event of the year on Saturday, January 14th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
 
The Big Fresno Fair and Electronic Recyclers once again come together in 2012 to provide a location for recycling broken or unbroken electronic waste. There is no limit on how many items you can bring to recycle, and it is FREE of charge.
