Did you know…?
- 35 tons of sand were used by one artist over 8 days to create the giant 11 ft. tall sand sculpture
- 14,452,200 lbs. of butter were used between all three stands at Country Fair Cinnamon Rolls
- 15,000 lbs. of kettle corn was sold at Kettlecorn (MKM Concessions)
- “Enough Buffalo Chicken Chimichangas were sold to reach the top of the Empire State Building” -straight from the mouth of Tony Bogoshian of Chicken Charlies.

Congratulation on your engagement! What happens next? Wedding planning! Be sure to check out the California Bridal & Wedding Expo on Sunday, December 1 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Fresno Fairgrounds in the Wells Fargo Agriculture Building. The expo will feature fashion shows, live music, a variety of amazing wedding companies PLUS you could win $10,000 for your big day along with other prizes! Admission is free with online registration or $10 at the door.

Are you a San Joaquin Valley resident? Have you owned your car for 6 months? Does your car fail emissions testing? If you said yes to all of these, join Valley CAN & San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for the Tune In, Tune Up event on Saturday, November 23 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fresno Fairgrounds’ Carnival Lot! Give your car a FREE emissions test and if it fails, you will receive a voucher for a free smog repair! The first 525 vehicles that qualify after the free emissions test will receive a $500 voucher for repairs at a participating STAR smog shop. The Annual Grape, Nut & Tree Fruit Expo is back on Tuesday, November 19 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fresno Fairgrounds! The event is produced in cooperation with the Central Valley wine, nut table and raisin grape industries. This event has helped generate nearly $150,000 in scholarship endowments for viticulture programs at Cal Poly, SLO, Fresno State, Santa Rosa Junior College, and UC Davis. Don’t miss the 30th Annual Valley Deaf Festival on Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Jr. Exhibits Building! The theme will be “DHHSC & The Candy Factory” with entertainment, vendors, games, activities for kids and a special appearance from The Flipside!
