The Sun Maid Kennel Club of Fresno Dog Show is returning to the Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2! Show hours for Saturday are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Come cheer one some of the cutest dogs in town! This event is FREE to the public to attend.

The Big Fresno Fair took home 21 awards at the Western Fairs Association’s (WFA) 97th Annual Convention & Trade Show held in Reno, Nevada January 19 – 22, 2020, where more than 1,200 fair CEOs, directors, staff and fair-related professionals from roughly 125 fairs throughout the Western United States attended to celebrate the greatest accomplishments of 2019. The Big Fresno Fair walked away with 21 WFA Achievement Awards, which included 9 first place, 8 second place and 4 third place award.

The Central Valley Australian Shepherd Club Dog Show is returning to the Fresno Fairgrounds! Beginning Saturday, February 1 through Sunday, February 2, the Central Valley Australian Shepherd Club will be taking over the Livestock Pavilion from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is free for the public to attend.

The 6th Annual San Joaquin Valley Olive Oil Competition is back! All olive oil producers in California can now submit their extra virgin or flavored olive oil varieties through March 27. Winners will be announced on April 15! Awards will be given out for Best of Show, Best of the Valley – as well as Gold and Silver medal winners.
If you are a San Joaquin resident, have owned your car for 6 months and your car fails emissions testing, then head to the Fresno Fairgrounds’ Carnival Lot for another Tune In, Tune Up event by Valley CAN & San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District on Saturday, February 1 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Give your car a FREE emissions test and if it fails, receive a voucher for a free smog repair! The first 525 vehicles that qualify after the free emissions test will receive a $500 voucher for repairs at participating STAR smog shops.

The Sports Car Club of America, Fresno Chapter returns for another fun-filled weekend this Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bring the family out to the Carnival Lot on the north end of the Fairgrounds and cheer racers to the finish line or even race your own car! This event is free to spectate and they even offer a ride along in the passenger seat for free too!
Join us at the Fresno Fairgrounds’ Starting Gate located south of Butler Ave. between Maple and Chance this Saturday, January 25 to be a part of the Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park! Watch and wager live via satellite with over $4 million in purse money! Admission is $5 and parking is FREE. Pardini’s Catering will be offering lunch specials throughout the day at the Starting Gate. Gates open at 8 a.m.
