Memorial Day – Office Closed Through Monday

“I would like to be remembered as a person who wanted to be free…so other people would be also free,” – Rosa Parks

This Memorial Day, and every day, we remember the brave men and women who sacrifice their lives to protect our freedom. The Fresno Fairgrounds Administration Office will be closed beginning today through Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day. The office will reopen Tuesday, June 1.

Happy Earth Day 🌎

“What is the use of a fine house if you haven’t got a tolerable planet to put it on?” Henry David Thoreau

Happy Earth Day! Over the years, The Big Fresno Fair has taken enormous strides to not only build its clean and green practices as a facility but promote conservation to Fairgoers. Did you know that during the 12-days of the 2018 Big Fresno Fair, with the help of Mid Valley Disposal, we collected 40.56 tons of recyclable materials, 193.8 tons of organic waste and 603.54 tons of trash items? That’s a total diversion rate of 234.36 tons! 🤯 This is yet another way the Fair is promoting and educating the public on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle! We only live on one earth, so let’s all do our part to take care of it 🌎❤

We would especially like to acknowledge some of our Big Fresno Fair team leaders – Deputy Managers, Stacy Rianda (left) & Lauri King (right), along with so many other remarkable women who work to make The Big Fresno Fair a little bigger and better each year!
