The 9th Annual Big Band Review is back and will take place Opening Day - Wednesday, October 2 at The Big Fresno Fair in the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand. The competition begins at 1 p.m. with an awards ceremony taking place at 5 p.m.
Junior High and High School marching bands from throughout California will compete for $15,000 in cash prizes and trophies - plus, let’s not forget bragging rights! Applications are now being accepted. Only the first 25 bands who apply will get a spot to compete.
The High School Sweepstakes Band winner will receive $2,000 and the Jr. High School Sweepstakes Band winner will receive $1,500. Then 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in High School and Jr. High will get $500, $400 and $300 respectively. Additionally, the first 20 bands to register are guaranteed a minimum of $500 each in prize money just for participating and showing their school pride. So don’t wait, enter today!
