Motown legend and Grammy Award-winning artist, Smokey Robinson is bringing the classics to the Paul Paul Theater as part of the Table Mountain Concert Series presented by Coors Light and Toyota at the 2021 Big Fresno Fair! Ticket prices are $62, $52 and $47.

The Smokey Robinson special online only pre-sale starts Wednesday, September 1 for Big Fresno Fair Fan Club Members only! The special BFF Club pre-sale will go from Wednesday, September 1 at 10 a.m. until Tuesday, September 7 11:59 p.m., during which members can purchase their Smokey Robinson tickets, PLUS get 50% off their Fair Admission with each ticket purchase! Concert tickets and discounted admission must be purchased in the same transaction. Tickets to the general public for Smokey Robinson will go on-sale Wednesday, September 8 at 10 a.m.

William “Smokey” Robinson, Jr. is a legendary singer-songwriter, record producer and executive, and co-founder of Motown Records. Robinson and his group, The Miracles, recorded their and Motown’s first million selling hit, “Shop Around.” Between 1960 and 1970, Robinson would produce 26 Top 40 hits with The Miracles including several Top 10 hits including “You Really Got a Hold On Me,” and the group’s only No. 1 pop hit, “The Tears of a Clown.” In 1975, Robinson went to release his most successful solo album, A Quiet Storm, which yielded three hit singles, “Baby That’s Backatcha,” “The Agony & The Ecstasy” and “Quiet Storm.” His classic hit, “Cruisin’” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, and then topped again with another ballad, “Being With You.” In 1987, Robinson made a successful return with his album, One Heartbeat, and the singles “Just to See Her” and “One Heartbeat,” which both became Top 10 hits. “Just to See Her” won Robinson his first Grammy Award and in the same year, was inducted as a solo artist into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Robinson has also been inducted into the Kennedy Center, awarded an individual star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a second star with The Miracles. He was awarded a medal at the National Medal of Arts, A Heritage Award at the Soul Train Music Awards and a BET Lifetime Achievement Award. In more recent years, Robinson released the standards album, Timeless Love, Time Flies When You're Having Fun, Now And Then + Smokey & Friends and his first-ever solo Christmas album, Christmas Everyday.
