Livin' Local Marketplace Application

Thank you for your interest in The Big Fresno Fair's Livin' Local Marketplace - showcasing vendors from the Central Valley!
Please fill out the form below completely and accurately.

Applicants will be notified no later than June 15 if they had been selected to participate in the 2023 Livin' Local Marketplace.

Company Documents Needed

You must have a California Sellers Permit in order to sell your product at the Fair because it is a state run facility.
If you do not have a California Sellers Permit, you can apply for one online through the Franchise Tax Board.

*You must have a Cottage Kitchen Certificate if you are a farm to table or food vendor.

**You should also note if you are a farm to table or food vendor you will need to obtain a Health Department Certificate in order to participate and sell your goods in the marketplace. You will not need to get this until you have been notified that you have been selected. More information will follow.

Product Details

Please list in detail a complete list of all products you are hoping to bring. If some items overlap with other vendors, you might be asked to only bring select items. An incomplete list of items will result in an incomplete application. Incomplete applications will not be eligible for selection.
*All items must be handmade or repurposed goods.

PRODUCT PICTURES:
Please attach no more than five product photos. These photos will be used when your application is being reviewed. If selected these photos may be used on The Big Fresno Fair and Livin’ Local Marketplaces social media.

You can also email your product photos to LivinLocal@fresnofair.com. Please attached your business name to all photos. Failure to attach pictures will result in an incomplete application.

*All complete applications will go through a jury selection process to become a vendor.

VENDOR DEPOSITS/PAYMENT INFORMATION: Vendor Space fee $600.00

When you have been notified that you have been selected as a 2023 Big Fresno Fair Livin’ Local Marketplace vendor a $300.00 non-refundable deposit is due (no later than August 16, 2023). Failure to pay this deposit will result in you losing your spot as a vendor for the 2023 Big Fresno Fair Livin’ Local Marketplace. The remaining $300.00 will be paid from sales made at the 2023 Big Fresno Fair. You will have the opportunity to volunteer and earn credit towards the remaining $300.00. For every 10 hours of volunteering you do at the Livin’ Local Marketplace you will receive $100.00 credit with a maximum of $300.00 credit for 30 hours. In addition to the space fee, The Big Fresno Fair will retain 10% of your net sales. Payments can be made via cash, credit card or check made payable to The Big Fresno Fair.
