IMPORTANT UPDATE
To our partners in education – we are with you! We know there is a lot on your plates with concerns regarding COVID-19, its impact on the upcoming school year and making sure students continue receiving the excellent education they are used to. As such, we are hitting pause on our Fair Education Program and will resume in 2021. Thank you to everyone who continues to make this great educational program part of your classroom! In lieu of this year’s in-person field trip, please feel free to use our Common Core standard-based curriculum noted below to educate students on Fresno County’s rich agricultural heritage!

We are still working diligently on plans to hold the 2020 Big Fresno Fair, which will run October 8-12, 14-18. Will it look different? Yes and we are working closely with the Fresno County Department of Public Health to determine what it will look like. But we will be here and we are looking forward to welcoming our community through our gates in October!
SUPPORTING THE FAIR’S MISSION TO CELEBRATE, EDUCATE AND HAVE FUN!
The Big Fresno Fair is so proud of it's Fair Education Program, put on in collaboration with the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and presented by Chevron, Meyers Water Bank & Wildlife Project, EECU and Fresno County Transportation Authority Measure C.
The 2019 Fair Education Program days were well attended, drawing in 28,879 Fresno County parents, teachers and students who toured the Fair the Fair Education Program days.
It has always been the mission of the Fair to educate, celebrate and have fun! During the past 27 years, more than 508,000 Fresno County students and their teachers have participated in this educational field trip that bridges the gap between rural and urban life – exposing students to the rich and diverse agriculture that powers our region, as well as the history of Fresno County and its talented residents!
The Fair Education Program allows Fresno County public, private and home schooled kindergarten through eighth grade students to visit the Fair FREE of charge in an educational setting.
