Meet Ryann Flach, a Sanger FFA student who is a junior at Sanger High School:
"My name is Ryann Flach and it is my third year in FFA. We raise Boer goats and market lambs on our family farm in Sanger, CA and I’ve been showing animals at the Fair for over ten years. I started with animal projects in 4-H and when I got to high school I wanted continue showing livestock so I joined FFA. I’m also involved in floral design and the FFA officer team.
My market whether lamb, George, is currently about 130 pounds and he is a commercial cross breed. Being able to keep George in my own backyard allows me to watch over his food intake and make adjustments to his feed as needed. I can monitor is health daily and give the exercise he needs to build muscle. I’ve learned over the years that all of this really matters and makes a difference in growing healthy, quality show animals."
