Nkauj Hmoob Tshwj Xeeb… which is translated to “Esteemed Hmong Daughter.” We are a competitive dance team under the umbrella of Hmong Culture Arts and Preservation located in Fresno, CA. Our dance team consists of 13 enthusiastic girls ranging from ages 11-15 years old. Nkauj Hmoob Tshwj Xeeb is very passionate about Hmong dancing and preserving our Hmong culture and arts. We have been sharing our culture and arts to the community across the central valley for the past three years. Last year we traveled to Oklahoma in October and shared the stage with amazing dancers in the Midwest, came back and took 2nd place at Merced New Year and Fresno Hmong New Year JV competition. Through the journey together, we learn to work as a team, empower each other, and build self-esteem, confidence, and trust but most importantly to appreciate our culture and our sisterhood. We hope you can feel and see our passion for our Hmong culture and dance through our performance video. We competed in Fresno during this passed memorial weekend and placed 2nd.Please sit back and enjoy – Nkauj Hmoob Tshwj Xeeb.
