IMPORTANT | POULTRY SHOW INFORMATION
On January 31, 2020, we received a letter from the State Veterinarian regarding the status of the Virulent Newcastle Disease (VND), which first had an outbreak in May 2018 in Southern California among the poultry population. Due to a recent flare-up of VND in Southern California, the State Veterinarian is advising that the poultry show be cancelled given our location nearby commercial poultry facilities. Buyers Wanted – Jr. Livestock Auction
Do you want to support these hard working 4-H, FFA and Independent exhibitors at the 2020 Big Fresno Fair? Then come out and support them at the 2020 Jr. Livestock Auctions both Saturdays of the Fair. Check back for more details in September 2020.
All youth livestock program participants are now required to obtain annual certification from the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) program. This requirement is mandated by the California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA) and the Division of Fairs & Expositions (F&E). Click here for more details.
