Jr. Livestock Auction

The Jr. Livestock Auction returns to in-person at the 2021 Big Fresno Fair! Want to learn how you can support these hardworking 4-H and FFA students? Check out the details below on the two auctions and why it's important now more than ever to support these kids! Buyer registration is now open!

Phase I |Saturday, October 9
Rabbits and Poultry will sell at 10:00 a.m.
Dairy Heifer and Dairy Replacement Doe Sale at 6:30 p.m.


Phase II | Saturday, October 16
Beef, Sheep, Meat Goats, and Swine.
Awards program will start at 8:30 a.m.
Sale will start at 9:00 am.


As a buyer, you note only receive high-quality, locally sourced food for you and your family to enjoy, but you positively impact the lives of these kids. How?

  • It builds their self-esteem and confidence
  • Helps recoup their investment on (animal project (animal, feed, care and time!)
  • Helps finance future animal projects
  • Give them additional funds for school/college
  • Provides the perfect “business” lesson calculating investment to revenue
Don't want to to buy an animal but still want to support the auction? No problem! Add-on bids are a wonderful way to support our youth projects without spending a lot of money. What is it? Essentially, it's an amount you want to give to a particular exhibitor who you believe deserves it. Be that $20 or $200. Just pay the day of the auction and you’re done! You’ve just added your desired amount on top of what the exhibitor will get for the sale of their animal.
