FEATURING THE SHOWDOWN

The Big Fresno Fair has partnered with Blue Shell Gaming once again to bring a one-of-a-kind experience to the Fair with the Pop! Culture Experience building, which was first debuted in 2021. This Comic-Con style building will feature a variety of new and returning vendors, plus retro and new gen video gaming, cosplay characters for Fairgoers to meet, 3D printing, Pokémon activities and hands-on S.T.E.A.M. experiences for the whole family to enjoy!

Fighterz Academy game design will also be part of the Pop! Culture Experience! Fairgoers will be able to experience new technologies in game creation, virtual reality, streaming and more!

Admission and gaming in the building are free!

Made possible by The Big Fresno Fair, Blue Shell Gaming, Xfinity and S.T.E.A.M. Station.

S.T.E.A.M. Station Fresno will be expanding its presence this year with more hands-on activities for families to enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math concepts in a fun and engaging way.

Cosplay fans can meet characters throughout the Fair! Imagination Organization from Fresno will be bringing a variety of popular characters to the Pop! Culture Experience, including Toy Story, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Hocus Pocus, Wicked, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Superheroes and Disney Villains.

Fair Education Days
During Fair Education Days, students can enjoy special cosplay character appearances from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. on the following days:

• Thursday, October 8: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
• Friday, October 9: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
• Thursday, October 15: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
• Friday, October 16: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.

• October 8 – Toy Story: 5–10 p.m.
• October 9 – Harry Potter: 10 a.m.–10 p.m.
• October 10 – Pokémon: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
• October 11 – Hocus Pocus: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
• October 15 – Wicked: 5–10 p.m.
• October 16 – Five Nights at Freddy’s: 5–10 p.m.
• October 17 – Superhero: 10 a.m.–10 p.m.
• October 18 – Disney Villains: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.

Join TCC 3D Prints, Gifts & More for a fun, hands-on look at the world of 3D printing! We’ll have 3D printers running so kids and families can see firsthand how an idea becomes a physical object, layer by layer. Learn a little history of 3D printing, see successful and failed prints, and discover the fun and functional things you can create. Visitors will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the time, preparation, troubleshooting and work that goes into creating a successful 3D print.

Year 7 for Blue Shell Gaming! Enjoy VR experiences, free-to-play new gen and retro gaming, plus a fan favorite — Guitar Hero! Blue Shell Gaming and its partners are bringing a unique Fair comic con-style shopping experience with collectibles, gaming, cute plushies, comic books, Pokémon TCG and more!

TNT Collectibles and Clovis Cards & Comics will be hosting a Pokémon Scavenger Hunt during the weekend of October 17–18. Walk around and find PokéStops throughout the Fair and come back to the Pop! Culture Experience for prizes! You can also learn to play Pokémon TCG with our Professional Pokémon Professors.
