Years of Service
The Big Fresno Fair’s Years of Service Program was created in 2019 to give recognition to the outstanding staff and volunteers for their continuous service, as each individual’s dedication and commitment serves as a vital part of making the Valley’s largest annual event happen. Each year The Big Fresno Fair employs more than 500 people and utilizes hundreds of volunteers to not only put on the best annual Fair possible, but create a great customer experience for the more than 600,000 Fairgoers.
“We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful people who are a part of our Big Fresno Fair team and have been so for decades, whether as a volunteer or staff,” said Stacy Rianda, Deputy Manager II, The Big Fresno Fair. “Those years of service deserve to be recognized and showcased to our community!”
“Each and every individual who has shown dedication to our Fair throughout the years have had a huge impact on not only our Fair staff, but to our Fairgoers,” said Lauri King, Deputy Manager II, The Big Fresno Fair. “We are excited to honor them with a public recognition program like this!”
The Years of Service Awards Program is given in five year increments, beginning at 15 years of service. With each milestone a staff member or volunteer reaches, they will receive a pin denoting their years of service for them to proudly wear, as well as a certificate and other prizes including a lifetime Big Fresno Fair membership for those who qualify with 25 or more years of service.
Temporary staff and volunteers are eligible for this award. To participate, they must fill out the Years of Service form available at https://www.fresnofair.com/p/about-us/recognition-programs or pick up a form at the Fair’s Administration Office. All applications are due by August 1, 2020.
