Recognition Programs

Hall of Fame

Created in 2007, The Big Fresno Fair’s Hall of Fame Program provides the platform to publicly recognize and honor those individuals who have demonstrated extensive support and extraordinary passion for the betterment of the Fair. Inductees are announced and recognized each Fall at The Big Fresno Fair.

We are now accepting applications for 2026 Hall of Fame inductees. The deadline to nominate is August 15. If you know someone that should be recognized, please fill out an application by clicking the button below.

Years of Service

The Big Fresno Fair’s Years of Service Program was created in 2019 to give recognition to the outstanding staff and volunteers for their continuous service, as each individual’s dedication and commitment serves as a vital part of making the Valley’s largest annual event happen. Each year The Big Fresno Fair employs more than 500 people and utilizes hundreds of volunteers to not only put on the best annual Fair possible, but create a great customer experience for the 500,000 Fairgoer that visit each year.

The Years of Service Awards Program is given in five year increments, beginning at 15 years of service. With each milestone a staff member or volunteer reaches, they will receive a pin denoting their years of service for them to proudly wear, as well as a certificate and other prizes including a lifetime Big Fresno Fair membership for those who qualify with 25 or more years of service.

Temporary staff and volunteers are eligible for this award. To participate, please fill out the application below. We are now accepting Years of Service honoree applications. All applications are due by August 15.

Community Champions

The Community Champions Awards was created in 2008 to formally recognize individuals who have demonstrated an extraordinary passion for betterment of Fresno County. Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel the Community Champions Awards indefinitely and will no longer be taking any further nominations.

Thank you to all of our past Community Champion Award Winners for making Fresno County a better place to live! We are grateful to have had the opportunity to honor you all and tell your stories!
