Meet Giovanni Iboa Orozco, a Kerman FFA student who is a Senior at Kerman Highschool:
"I joined FFA my freshman year of high school because I love anything that has to do with animals. I heard all the amazing things people did when they joined this organization, and I was amazed and decided to try it out. Since I've joined, I have learned many skills, such as responsibility, leadership, dedication, and building my confidence. All these skills have slowly prepared me for the real world of hard work. FFA is important to me because it not only connects me to animals and agriculture, but it also challenges me to become a better version of myself and prepares me for my future.
This year, I focused on raising and showing a Black Angus steer. Since I received Storm in November 2024, I have been dedicated to his care and training, working with him twice a day to ensure he is healthy, well-conditioned, and ready to show. I really enjoyed having him as my last project in high school and look forward to the fair this year."
