FAIR-Time GUIDELINES, policies & CODE OF CONDUCT

• Outside food or alcohol, glass containers, or hard-sided coolers
  (Exceptions are made for medical purposes, baby food or formula.)


• Sealed plastic water bottles 24 oz. or smaller are allowed; one per person.
  (Empty, reusable plastic or metal water bottles (ex: Hydro Flasks) 24oz. or smaller are permitted.)


• Non-service animals or pets


• Drones or remote-controlled aerial devices


• Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, or pepper spray regarding of concealed weapons permit


• Narcotics, cannabis products or other illegal substances


• Amplified sound devices not approved by management


• Photography tripods or professional camera equipment, unless direct approval from the Fair’s Marketing/Communications Department has been received


• Skateboards, hoverboards, in-line skates, bicycles
  (there are bicycle racks in the Chance Avenue Parking Lot)


• Kites, balls and Frisbees

Smoking of tobacco in the form of cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes or vapes is only permitted in designated smoking areas as identified on the Fair map.

The use of marijuana products in any form is strictly prohibited on property.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), only dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability are recognized as service animals and are permitted on the grounds.

Emotional Support Animals (ESAs), therapy animals, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and do not have the same access rights. Therefore, they are not permitted on the grounds during events unless granted prior written approval by the 21st DAA for special circumstances.

Handlers of service animals must maintain control of their animal at all times. If a service animal is out of control or not housebroken, the handler may be asked to remove the animal from the premises.

All patrons attending The Big Fresno Fair on Friday’s and Saturday’s will be wrist-banded before entering the grounds denoting they have gone through the proper security screening. Each day will be a different colored wristband. Anyone found to not be wearing a wristband or able to provide any other sort of Fair identification i.e. employee badge, etc. will be subject to questioning and could be ejected from the Fair.

There will be no hand-stamp re-entry allowed after 9:00 p.m. any day of the Fair; and no re-entry at the Kings Canyon Gate for the entire Fair.

All youth under the age of eighteen (18) are required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (age 21+) to be admitted to The Big Fresno Fair after 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night(s).

Any persons entering The Big Fresno Fair after 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night(s) may be asked to show a valid ID with proof of age to be admitted. Any youth under the age of eighteen (18) without a valid driver’s license or California identification card and not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will not be admitted after 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night(s).

Exceptions to this policy will be at the discretion of Fair Management.

It is the policy of the 21st District Agricultural Association (DAA) also known as "The Big Fresno Fair” that no person who enters District property is allowed to carry or possess a handgun, firearm, knife or other weapon of any kind regardless of whether the person is licensed to carry the weapon or not.

The only exception to this policy will be police officers, security guards or other qualified persons who have been given advanced written authorization by the District to carry a weapon on the property.

In order to protect the safety, security, privacy and property interests of the 21st District Agricultural Association, its employees, agents, contractors and the public is prohibited to any operation or use of unmanned aircraft systems, remote or radio controlled model aircraft of all types, shapes, and sizes or any other similar type devices (collectively “Drones”).

Use of any of these devices is strictly prohibited on the premises of the 21st DAA or within the 21st DAA’s air rights, without prior written approval from the 21st DAA. Please be advised that violation of this policy will result in immediate ejection from the premises of the 21st DAA and may subject the violator to a criminal trespass warning or arrest for those who fail to comply.

8. Failure to retain ticket and/or present it to event staff if requested to do so. This includes the Weekend Admission Policy of wearing a designated wristband at all times on Friday and Saturday nights

10. Violation of state or local laws
