Meet Jesse Smith, a Sierra 4-H student who is in the 5th grade at Foothill:
Jesse joined 4-H to learn more about sheep, horses and to gain leadership experience while giving back to his community. 4-H is important to Jesse because it gives him real life business experience and give him the opportunity to meet new people and make more friends.
Jesse is showing two lambs. His breeding ewe Brownie was born and raised on his family’s ranch. He was able to see her bring born and is excited to show her this year at the fair. Jesse is also showing Drumstick, his market lamb.
