Meet Logan King, a Sierra FFA student who is in the 10th grade at Sierra High School:
4-H and FFA have been instrumental in shaping the person who he is today. Both of his parents participated in showing cattle and passed the love onto him. When he was 8 he showed his first animal and it was a hog after that he got to show cattle and found his passion. He is fortunate and gets to show cattle all over the State and even at a National Show. Together with his family we raise cattle. This program is so important to him because it helped him weather the ups and downs. He is very active in my FFA Chapter and the Sentinel this year.
This year Logan is showing a steer named Breve! Breve has been one of his favorite steers - he has SO much personality and is very funny. Breve was raised on his Family Ranch. He got him in January and participated in multiple shows. Logan also showed him at the Chowchilla Fair and he was the champion feeder steer. Breve has been a great project and he is looking forward to seeing how they do at The Big Fresno Fair.
