Meet Madalyn Welton, a Reedley Middle College High School FFA student who is a Sophomore at Reedley Middle College High School.
“I got involved in FFA as my whole family has done it, and I've been waiting. I also just like being with animals and getting to work with them. This program is important to me because it helps me improve more lifelong skills like responsibility while still doing something I love.
My project this year is my lamb, Kermit. He is very kind and loves to be around people. He also likes to go on walks a lot. Running around is one of his favorite things, especially when he is so strong he basically drags you. My brother’s lamb who is in the same pen as mine is also very dear to my lamb, as they always want to be together, even when it gets a little problematic to do so. He loves dogs as well, which is good as he is always around them and wanting to play.”
