Halau Hula I Ka La means "Hula school in the sun" and is a hula school in Clovis, California and in Toronto, Canada. Our vision is to promote and educate the community about the Aloha Spirit through the Hawaiian art of Hula with performances, workshops and other services.
Hula can be described as the manifestation of the history and the beliefs of the Hawaiian people. The words of the songs and the movement of the dancers are used to describe nature, recount historical events and people, and bring to life the gods and goddesses who shape the land of Hawai'i.
