Below is a list of frequently asked questions by interested renters that may help you as your explore your options to use the Fresno Fairgrounds as the venue for your upcoming event.

What areas of the Fresno Fairgrounds are available to rent and what do I need to do to rent the Fairgrounds for my event?
Most buildings and outdoor spaces are available for rent at the Fresno Fairgrounds. You can see the various areas for rent here. The fastest way to inquire about availability and pricing is to fill out our online application.  We can then check dates and create a price quote based on the information you provide.  You may fill out an application here. Insurance is required for all events at the Fresno Fairgrounds.  You may provide your own insurance or it can be purchased directly from the Fresno Fairgrounds.  

Do I need to provide my own security?
Most events require some staffing by security, but you do not need to provide your own security.  The Fresno Fairgrounds has a contract with a local security company – Fresno County Private Security.  Your price quote will include the cost of the security guards determined necessary for your event.

Can I bring my own caterer for food?
Yes, this is one of the many benefits of booking your event at the Fresno Fairgrounds!  Many of our buildings have kitchens, so you are welcome to cook your own food or hire your own caterer.  Pardini’s Catering is our on-site caterer and provides the highest level of service for our events. They are familiar with the Fairgrounds, various buildings and kitchen facilities. If you are interested in using Pardini’s as your caterer, you may contact them direct at (559) 253-0155.  

Can I have alcohol at my event?
You may have alcohol at any event, but it must be purchased through and served by Pardini’s Catering as they hold the liquor license for the Fresno Fairgrounds. You may contact them directly at (559) 253-0155 for more information.  

What time can I set up or decorate?
You may begin setting up for your event at 7:00 a.m. the day of your event.  Should you require more time for set up, please let us know and we can make arrangements for you to set up between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. the evening prior to your event.  A charge of $200 will be applied to your rentals fees if you chose to set up the evening before your event.

Does my event need to end by a certain time?
The standard time to conclude events is midnight. You may extend your event longer, but a charge of $100 per hour, per building, plus security costs will apply.

Are tables and chairs included?
A limited number of tables and chairs are included in most building rentals for not-for-profit events such as weddings and private parties.

Will I be charged for parking?
The Fresno Fairgrounds does not charge parking for private events such as wedding, quinceañera, reunions, birthday parties and more. On a case-by-case basis the Fairgrounds reserves the right to charge parking for commercial public events. Parking costs range from $5 - $8 per vehicle depending on the event.
