Meet Adrian Vargas Reedley Middle College High School FFA student who is a Junior at Reedley Middle College:
Adrian chose to show to teach him responsibility, it is a major responsibility to take care of another being as you have to feed it and water it along with caring for its mental and medical needs. The program is important to him since it showed him these values and more, such as teaching me veterinary skills which can be used for later.
The first year of high school Adrian had two chickens which sold for $300, these $300 was spent on sports equipment and such. Sophomore year after that he had bought a pig and was quite successful with it, as he received a buyer and sold it for $800. The current FFA project Adrian has is a lamb, it is a quite nice lamb and I work it continuously knowing he could use the money for a lot important stuff in his life such as college, sports and even my final FFA project.
