Meet Anthony Arroyo, a Tranquility FFA exhibitor!
"My involvement in FFA started when I found out how
important it is to everything and everyone, but especially myself. Becoming an
active member of my chapter is something I’m truly grateful for, as it has
taught me so much like team management, leadership skills, animal care, the
importance of agriculture, and so much more. FFA truly means a lot to me, as I
am a graduate student still wanting to be involved and participate in anything
for as long as I can. FFA has also shaped me into the person I am today, with
the skills it has given me, but also has helped me mentally with important
relationships with close friends, including people from different chapters
which also helps me get out and meet others. It has given me incredible travel
opportunities, just like the California FFA state leadership conference. I hope
everyone can see FFA for what it truly is and how it can shape their life into
something amazing.
My animal project for this year’s Big Fresno Fair is a market duroc. His name is Pua and he has one of the biggest hearts ever. I train Pua everyday by walking him, along with the basic needs that every animal needs like feeding, grooming, and giving him plenty of water throughout the day. This will be my first year showing an animal at the Big Fresno Fair, keeping that in mind has me motivated and excited to show Pua to everyone that will be attending. I do think Pua has an excellent chance to be one of the best, as he has been working very hard for the last few months. I cannot wait for people to see Pua in action."
