Meet Brooklyn Goad, a Riverdale FFA exhibitor who is a sophomore at Riverdale High School:
"I got involved in FFA because I wanted to learn more
about agriculture, develop leadership skills, and challenge myself through
raising livestock. FFA has given me opportunities to grow in responsibility,
confidence, and communication while meeting people who share the same passions.
This program is important to me because it has helped me become a better
leader, taught me the value of hard work and dedication, and is helping me work
toward my goal of becoming a livestock veterinarian.
This year I raised and will be showing my market steer.
Caring for him every day taught me responsibility, patience, and the value of
hard work. It has been a rewarding experience, and I’m proud of how far we’ve
come together, I am ready to show off all are hard work at the Fair."
