Meet one of our hardworking exhibitors from Sanger 4-H, Kalea Lopez!
Kalea has always been an avid animal lover, from dogs and cats to horses and Boer goats. Her love for animals led her to begin showing Boer goats as a PeeWee in 2021, and she has continued to grow her passion for raising, caring for, and showing livestock through Sanger 4-H.
4-H has become especially important to Kalea because it has brought her family the very best village and a community that has become such a special part of her life. She treasures the friendships and memories made along the way, as well as the joy and sense of accomplishment that come from seeing her hard work and dedication pay off. She looks forward to following in her big sister’s footsteps and continuing to show livestock throughout high school with Sanger FFA.
This year, Kalea has raised a market wether named Billie. She will also be showing her doeling, Cocoa, in the Bred by Exhibitor class. Kalea is excited to showcase both animals and all of the hard work, time, and dedication she has put into them throughout the year.
