Meet Lynaih Leon Martinez, a Tranquility FFA exhibitor!
"I decided to get involved with FFA because I wanted to experience the responsibility of taking care of an animal. My sister also is involved in FFA and it made me want to get involved as well. I had also heard it can help get more confident in speaking in front of many people. This program is important to me because I am a competitive and in showmanship you compete against others.
I have a Yorkshire and I have had him for 4 months. He is a boar and his name is Cecilio. I have created a special bond with my pig since I had got him. I get up early each day to feed him in the mornings and afternoons. I make sure he eats and drinks water. I train him each day for when show day arrives so I can be ready. I also rinse/brush my pig each day so he can have great skin and hair. Raising an animal has taught me responsibility that I can use later in the future."
