Meet Marissa Dilley, a Fresno-Central FFA exhibitor who is a junior at Central High School!
"I joined FFA to learn more about agriculture and livestock. As part of my FFA program project, I raised a market goat last year. I learned how to care for my goat, train him for competition, and market him for auction at the Fresno Fair. I really enjoyed competing with other students from different FFA chapters. I did pretty good for my first year and learned a lot. I also made a lot of great memories and friendships. FFA is important to me because it has provided me with so many great opportunities and experiences.
My animal project this year is another market goat. I named my goat Kevin. Kevin is a larger goat than my goat from last year, so I have been learning a lot of new things. It was challenging to get him used to walking with a harness because he is so strong but I did it. I am so excited to compete with Kevin at the Fresno Fair this year and can't wait to see how well we do!"
