Meet Morgan McQuone, a Sanger 4-H exhibitor!
"I got involved with 4-H because I have always love animals and in the past 3 years have been around cattle. I fell in love with them. 4-H has brought me new friends and memories. I've learned responsibility by feeding, washing them daily and I've had to halter break and walk them. I've learned I can't skip on chores. Joining has helped me to gain hands on skills, build my confidence in the show ring and I've learned about good work ethics. Showing has taught me to win humbly, loose gracefully and stand back up when things don't go as planned.
This year I am showing 2 steers and a feeder calf at the Big Fresno Fair. Both my steers (Blaze and JJ) are Charolais Cross. I've taken both my steers to Jackpots to get them used to the ring and improve my showmanship. Blaze is bred and owned steer. Blaze is curious about everything around him; he only likes me and loves scratches on his face. JJ is my big fluffy teddy bear. He is so calm and sweet. I am raising the best steers I could this year and giving them the best possible life. Blaze and JJ are my partners, teammates and best friends."
