Meet Sofia Guizar, a Tranquility FFA exhibitor who is a senior at Tranquility High School.
"I joined FFA because I wanted to be involved in agriculture and challenge myself to grow. Over the years, it’s become so much more than just raising livestock. FFA has taught me responsibility, hard work, and confidence, while giving me opportunities and memories that have shaped who I am today.
This year, I am raising a market steer. Every day I dedicate time to feeding, exercising, grooming, and monitoring its health to help it reach its full potential. Raising a market steer has taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of caring for an animal every single day. It’s been a rewarding experience that has strengthened my work ethic and responsibility."
