Fairground Event Policies

• The premises of the 21st DAA may be subject to filming and photography at all times. Entry onto the premises constitutes permission for the 21st DAA and its partners to use the image and/or likeness of any person on-site for promotional and advertising purposes.


• All guests and vendors assume the risks inherent to public events held on the Fresno Fairgrounds property.


• The 21st DAA reserves the right to deny entry or remove individuals for violations of any policy, rule, or law.


• All guests and vendors are required to go through security screenings as identified by the 21st DAA specific to the event, which may include bag checks and metal detection.

The following items are not allowed at any event unless explicitly approved by the 21st DAA in writing:

• Outside alcohol, glass containers, or hard-sided coolers


• Non-service animals or pets


• Drones or remote-controlled aerial devices


• Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, or pepper spray regarding of concealed weapons permit


• Narcotics, cannabis products or other illegal substances


• Amplified sound devices not approved by management

Smoking of tobacco in the form of cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes or vapes is only permitted in designated smoking areas, which can be found on the Fair map.

The use of marijuana products in any form is strictly prohibited on property.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), only dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability are recognized as service animals and are permitted on the grounds.

Emotional Support Animals (ESAs), therapy animals, or companion animals are not
considered service animals under the ADA and do not have the same access rights. Therefore, they are not permitted on the grounds during events unless granted prior written approval by the 21st DAA for special circumstances.

Handlers of service animals must maintain control of their animal at all times. If a service animal is out of control or not housebroken, the handler may be asked to remove the animal from the premises.

The following behaviors are prohibited at all times:

• Use of profanity or threatening language


• Intoxicated or disruptive behavior


• Failure to follow posted signage or staff directions


• Tampering with or entering restricted areas


• Littering or damaging property


• Bringing in prohibited items


• Failure to comply with local, state, or federal laws

Violations may result in immediate removal from the property and, if warranted, criminal prosecution.
