Wells Fargo Agriculture Building presented by FoodMaxx

The perfect stop when you’re on the search for delicious Valley-grown favorites!  People from all over the world come to the Wells Fargo Agricultural Building presented by Save Mart Supermarkets to see all the reasons why Fresno County is the world’s top agricultural area! From apples to zucchini, you’ll find more than 350 different varieties of locally-grown crops on display here. Here's a list of the communities who participate each year by constructing their community displays that showcase their most famous agricultural products: Clovis, Coalinga, Easton, Fowler, Kerman, Kingsburg, Laton, Orange Cove, Parlier, Reedley, Sanger and Selma.


                    
 


Fine Arts & Photography Building

Discover a world of artistic talent, all under a colorful canopy of paintings, sculptures, photographs and more! Check out the Fine Arts & Photography Building, where you’ll find the largest collection of local artwork in Fresno County. Here, hundreds of artists and photographers display their work. More than 1,400 items are exhibited each year!


 


The Greenhouse

From roses to bonsai plants, tips on gardening and more, this area has the information you need to keep your home and garden looking wildly fabulous! The Greenhouse will be back again with even more exotic and wonderful floriculture displays. Not only will there be the sweet smelling roses, exotic orchids and intricate bonsai plants found in the Floriculture Exhibit, but there will also be demonstrations and booths to give you tips on how to keep your home and garden looking in top shape.  

 

 


Gem & Mineral Building

See all that glisten and gleams! Enjoy the sparkle of breathtaking stones and minerals on display in the Gem & Mineral building all 12 days of The Big Fresno Fair. With approximately 100 variations of gems and minerals on display, Fairgoers can learn about diamonds, rubies, emeralds and more! This building also features exhibits in silversmithing, beadwork, petrified wood and fossils. Plus, Fairgoers can purchase beautiful handcrafted jewelry and silver-work. All proceeds from purchased rocks, fossils, gems and jewelry go towards grants supporting students in the earth science programs with Fresno City College, California State University, Fresno and High School Science Fairs as well as the lapidary/geology outreach efforts in the greater Fresno area.


Home Arts Building presented by Save Mart Supermarkets 

Looking for homemade crafts and favorite family traditions? Your search ends here! The Home Arts building presented by Save Mart Supermarkets & the California Raisin Marketing Board features everything from cooking contests to household creations! This building is the perfect destination to see some of our community’s most talented bakers, quilters, spinners, weavers and fine wood carvers. Not only can you explore exhibits, but you can also visit any of the vendors who are there to assist you! These vendors can help you learn just about everything, from wood carving to ceramics, lamp shade making to painting, fly fishing to quilts, the history of Fresno and so much more!


    

        


 

Commerce and Industry Commerce Buildings

Enter the world of wild ideas, gadgets and gizmos!  You’re likely to find what you’re looking for among the hundreds of commercial exhibits and concessions in the Commerce & Industry Commerce Buildings and all across the Fairgrounds. A wide variety of vendors will be on hand offering an abundance of products for Fairgoers to browse or purchase. From live demonstrations to back massages, you’ll find it all here.

 


Junior Exhibits Building

We'll be showcasing the talents of our best and brightest young stars! Who says Fair exhibits are only for adults? See the creative talents of our Fresno County youth, ages 9 to 19, come to life in the Junior Exhibits building at The Big Fresno Fair. Exhibits are also constructed by 4-H, FFA, Girl Scouts and local area High School Art and Industry classes. Browse all the different entries from clothing to cooking, fruits to farm equipment and pictures to posters, just to name a few! 


Livestock Pavilion

Check out the Livestock Pavilion! See everything from farm animals to cow-milking demonstrations at the Challenge Dairy “Cow Palace” Milking Barn! This building features 12 days of livestock events including beef, dairy, goats, sheep and swine. By participating in these events, 4-H and FFA students not only have the opportunity to showcase and sell their animal projects, but they also learn responsibility and gain agribusiness experience. Also, don't miss the Jr. Livestock Auctions on both Saturday's of the Fair!

             


Fur & Feathers Building

See all the bunnies & birds! Discover the many different breeds of rabbits, birds and more, all under one roof in the Fur & Feathers Building located in the Livestock Pavilion!


Kids' Town - New Bug-ology Exhibit

The Big Fresno Fair is filled with fun for kids of all ages - and Kids' Town is just the place to be! Each year Kids' Town features a new exhibit and this year it is all about the bugs with the new Bug-ology Exhibit! Don't miss the GIANT animatronic bugs including a praying mantis, beetles and caterpillar, as well as the interactive dragonfly, honeybee and mosquito heads. Plus participate in the numerous interactive educational stations! Come learn about what bugs are good for our environment and are even used as food! There will be edible bug treats available for sale to the public at the “Bug Bites Bar,” plus a miniature Bug Ranch display and a beautiful butterfly exhibit. Walk through the Spider Forest or take photos with a Scorpion or Tarantula. Daily educational shows feature fun facts about bugs you never knew!


Table Mountain Rancheria Park

A "must see" for Fairgoers! You won't want to miss all the great attractions in the Park Area. Catch a glimpse of the wildlife in the San Joaquin Valley and learn about California's vital water system within the newly renovated Meyers Water and Wildlife Tree featuring a brand new educational exhibit The Water Shed, which utilizes cutting-edge digital projection mapping technology to help teach scientific concepts such as the water cycle, aquifers, groundwater banking and the water table; learn about various snakes and lizards on display in the recently added Reptile House; view fish indigenous to our region in the "Cloud Tank" – a 1,200 gallon water tank brought to the Fair from Hollywood that was once used to film underwater scenes and explosions! Experience what a life size pirate ship is all about at Pirates in the Park; explore Fort Fresno; pan for gold at Miner's Town; climb the Horse Palace Tree House; go fishing at Catfish Falls, complete with a 2-story waterfall; learn all about the dairy industry at Dairyville USA; climb and play on the replica of Fresno's First School House or test out your shot at the Laser Shooting Gallery Barn

Stop by The Big Fresno Fair Farmer’s Market to see what’s growing in the Central Valley. This attraction showcases the Central Valley’s top agricultural commodities such as corn, tomatoes, grapes (table and wine), garlic, lemons, oranges, nectarines, plums, peaches, walnuts, pistachios, raisins and almonds. Imagine tomatoes the size of beach balls, ears of corn that are 23 ft. tall and 3 ft. wide and oranges the size of soccer balls!
